Who would have thought, I unexpectedly met an old friend and famous YouTuber, Mas @AndriawanPratikto, who was also traveling to Yogyakarta, my destination. This video is a continuation of my previous video, which showed me trying out the new Super Air Jet route from Jakarta to Kediri. It was from Kediri that I filmed my return journey to Yogyakarta. From Kediri to Yogyakarta, I finally decided to take the Kertanegara train, the train that serves the Malang-Purwokerto route. Besides having a convenient schedule, it wasn't too early from Kediri. Of course, the Kediri-Yogyakarta route has a special fare scheme only available on certain trains, including the Kertanegara. The Kertanegara train itself offers two classes of service: Executive and Economy. The Economy class uses New Image equipment, while the Executive class uses mild steel equipment of various vintages. "Luckily" I got a relatively old train, a 1984 model, which is approximately 40 years old and features aircraft-style window construction.
