Callum Elson - The Distance Project (Episode 1)
In the 2020 pandemic Callum Elson put an end to his university football season and started to take his hobby of running more seriously. In 2021 Callum ran fast enough to secure a scholarship in the NCAA, for a one year program. In 2022, Callum ran his 3rd ever mile race and broke the 4 minute barrier and then the 14 minute barrier for the 5k a few months later. Now back in the UK, he wants to cement himself at the top of the national scene & set sights on international vests. Since filming the first episode of this series, Callum qualified to represent Great Britain at the European XC championships in Turin.
