Ein Spaziergang durch Kalyves und ein besonderes kretisches Gericht

Today we explore the charming village of Kalyves on the north coast of Crete. Our walk begins at the port of Kalyves, from where we enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Lefka Ori (White Mountains). We stroll through the village along the beach promenade, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere as the spring sun bathes the scenery in a beautiful light. To conclude our excursion, we visit the village tavern O Mitsos, where we sample something very special – the traditional Cretan dish "snails" (chokhlioi). Snails are an integral part of Cretan cuisine and have been valued for centuries for their high nutritional content and beneficial health benefits.
