DHS says ringleader of UFC plot was in the country illegally

The alleged plot to attack the White House at Sunday’s UFC fight apparently had a ringleader, according to the Department of Homeland Security. 31-year-old Abraham Alvarez of Nebraska was also an illegal immigrant from Mexico who came to the United States as a child, during which time he overstayed his visa.
