Cazenovia neighbors still demand answers after Travis Longo steps down

Travis Longo has resigned from the Cazenovia Central School District Board of Education, but for many community members, that resignation is not bringing closure. Longo submitted his resignation Monday night, hours after the Cazenovia Board of Education voted to begin formal proceedings to remove him from office. The move came amid mounting outrage following Longo’s arrest on child pornography charges and allegations that he engaged in sexually explicit communications with a child. The resignation followed an emotional special meeting at Cazenovia High School, where dozens of parents, teachers and community members gathered expecting answers from school leaders.
