This 4K Webcam Isn’t for Streamers - NearStream VM20 Review

The NearStream VM20 is a 4K webcam packed with advanced features like optical zoom, AI tracking, and multiple connection options — but after extensive testing, it’s not a webcam I’d recommend for most streamers or content creators. In this review, I test the NearStream VM20 in a real-world livestreaming setup and compare it directly against the Logitech C920 and my Sony A6100 mirrorless camera. While the VM20 delivers excellent detail, issues with exposure, white balance, colour reproduction, and locked image controls make it difficult to recommend for stationary streaming setups.
