How to (and not to) resuscitate newborn calves
Calving is a natural process, and most cows will give birth to a healthy calf without issues. However, there are times when things go wrong and you need to know how to save a baby calf. If a newborn calf requires resuscitation, it is recommended to put them in the calf recovery position, poke a clean straw in their nose, dribble a few drops of water in their ear, or rub them vigorously.
