Day 1 in Louisiana turned into an adventure we'll never forget!

Free, Sam, Susan, and I left Slidell and rode through New Orleans on our way to a Louisiana airboat tour deep in the bayou. Along the way, we crossed the I-10 Twin Span Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain, rode across the Crescent City Connection above the Mississippi River, and reflected on the history of Hurricane Katrina as we passed the Superdome.Once we arrived in the swamp, the real adventure began.We traveled deep into the Louisiana bayou where alligators surrounded our boat from every direction.
