How to date an Athol Vise (athol/starrett vise history part 2)
Most collectors of anything want to know when the item is from. For some things like Athol/starrett vises (vices for the uk) it’s more difficult. I hope this helps anyone who is curious. The model 1, 2, 3 for stationary and model 1,2 for swivel is my own system as to my knowledge no one has classified them before me or at least done so publicly. All mistakes are my own please feel free to leave comments #ny #vintagetools #antiquetools #vise #collectables #garage #athol #garagesale #starrett #history #vice @starrett_tools
