29029 Snowbasin | 2025 Recap

Consistency and discipline can do amazing things for a human. This weekend in Snowbasin, 310 athletes put that statement to the test by attempting to climb the mountain 13 times in 36 hours to reach the equivalent height of Mt. Everest. Snowbasin is just ruthless. Each ascent is long and tough enough to really take something out of you. And there’s enough of them that the task seems overwhelming after the first couple. Add energy-sapping sun and you’ve got the recipe for a proper challenge. But as we’ve seen before, the extraordinary people who committed to this challenge leaned into the difficulty and discomfort to embrace that struggle. In the end, 59% of participants reached 29,029 feet and earned red hats. More importantly, every single climber left their soul on the mountain and put in an effort worth toasting to. To the participants – life after the mountain has just begun. Use the momentum of this experience to chase other goals with the same tenacity you unleashed on Snowbasin. Continue opening yourself up to big challenges, where the big opportunities lie. And know that you are not alone — the 29029 community goes beyond this event.
