Comparisons of two FB 1A's showing similarities and differences
Hey everyone well my latest acquisition is a Guardion Pyrotronics FB 1A from 1979. I also have another FB 1A from 1978 which I acquired around 2018 which was only my 3rd alarm in my collection. This latest alarm is my 123 rd alarm in my collection which is impressive. These are both Canadian detectors and from the same seller. The latest one the test button is on the horn and has a smaller PCB board where the first one the test button is on the sensor and has a bigger PCB board. The battery connectors are also different on each one. The covers also slightly different on each one too. These detectors are very popular amongst collectors in the fire alarm forum. Both work very well. I tested them both via the test button and with smoke sabre spray. Enjoy the video!!!!
