Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Music Scholarship Competition | June 11, 2026--Instrumental

The History of GMBS Music Scholarship Program: For the past 50 years, the Glenn Miller Birthplace Society has sponsored a music scholarship competition for high school seniors and college freshmen who intend to make music a part of their future. The competition is held during the yearly Glenn Miller Festival, which is the 2nd weekend in June. Students compete for one of the top 3 prizes in both the instrumental and vocal categories. This year, the prize package has tripled; 1st place winners receive $10,000, 2nd place winners receive $5,000, and 3rd place winners receive $3,000. There were 20 Semi-Finalists all together: 10 Instrumental and 10 Vocal. The judges had a really challenging task to determine the winners. For best viewing, set your YouTube settings to 4K.
