Headphones or good speakers are recommended for listening. Hi! I worked so hard on this cover and I'm so glad to share it with you today. Yay! :) Thanks to David Wise for writing this, and being so cool to all of the fans of your work. This was at the top of my songs to do list. I knew it would be an endeavor with all of the percussion and sounds involved. This melody is one of the first ones that imprinted on my brain in an impactful way when I was little and first heard it. That melody that kicks in is so cool, and I remember trying to figure it out on piano back in the day. This magical melancholy melody haunted me, in a good way, for pretty much my whole life! I love it just as much. Thanks to Matt (DonutDrums) for letting me play your drums and helping me with technique of holding the drumsticks, which I've been trying to improve on! To anyone wondering, this is a hybrid set up with triggers. This drumset plugs into a Roland "brain" with lots of sounds on it. I used a metal hit sound, and tuned/recorded multiple ones as best as I could to sound similar to the DK version! Some were detuned and some were tuned up. Then, by plugging the drums into a midi cable, I also used bunch of sounds from Hans Zimmer's percussion sound program, and a few basic ones from garageband!
