Tamboril is well-known as a cigar production center, and Licey al Medio is famous as an agricultural city. However, what left a deeper impression on me was not the scenery or the appearance of the cities, but the people who live here. Wherever I went, they greeted me with a smile and welcomed me warmly, which left a lasting impression. They even offered me a cigar asking me to "remember our meeting," and gave me water because I looked thirsty—small acts of kindness continued throughout the day. Thanks to them, even though it was a short day, I was able to spend a precious time that will remain in my memory for a long time.
