Figure Skating: My Axel Journey | Progress Video

Hello figure skating friends and fans 😊 I decided to to create a progress video of my axel from when I returned back on ice in February 2018 up until November 2020. I've had a lot of ups and downs with this jump and highlighted most of the events such as falling in my test skate right in front of the judges and finally feeling comfortable to land it in competition. I landed my first axel when I was about 10 years old. I also landed a double axel back in the day when I was around 17 years old. here you will see me attempting a few double axels because I'm so motivated to get it back again! I took a break from skating for several years and returned when I was around 25 years old. I skated maybe 3 times in those 8 years I was away and never once tried to do a jump. I had a decent amount of muscle memory but my technique was so off that I had to relearn everything and still learning.
