This creamy Italian sausage pasta is rich, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. Juicy sausage, garlic, chili, tomatoes, basil, and Parmesan come together in a glossy restaurant-style sauce that perfectly coats every piece of pasta. An easy pasta dinner that tastes far better than something this simple should. 📝 Ingredients: 6.3 oz/ 180 g pasta of choice 2 Italian sausages 1 small onion 2 garlic cloves ½ chili pepper 14 oz/ 400 g canned crushed tomatoes 1.2 oz/ 35 g Parmesan cheese 2 stems fresh basil Olive oil Salt Black pepper 🍳 Recipe: Remove the sausage filling from the casings. Tear the meat into small rustic pieces. Finely dice the onion. Mince the garlic. Finely chop a little chili pepper. Finely chop the basil leaves. Grate the Parmesan. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve a little pasta water. Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook the sausage pieces until deeply golden and caramelized. Set the sausage aside. In the same pan, cook the onion until golden. Add the garlic and chili pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Return the sausage to the pan. Add the canned tomatoes. Simmer everything together, stirring occasionally. Add a little pasta water to help the sauce become glossy. Add the basil. Season with salt to taste. Season with black pepper to taste. Mix well. Add the grated Parmesan. Stir until the sauce becomes creamy. Add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until fully coated. Serve with extra grated Parmesan on top.
