Ford Connect Micro Campervan Bodywork Repairs & Prep For Paint
In this video of this Ford Connect micro campervan conversion, I take care of the small bits of bodywork on the van that need attention before I can proceed to respray the van. The Ford Connects can suffer from some common rust area's, mainly the sills and the roof where rust spots can develop. The sills on this Ford Connect camper were already replaced before I purchased the van but they were not treated very well and surface rust had started to appear, so I remove all of the surface rust, treat all of the area's with Hammerite Kurust and then primer and paint ready for a respray. I also take care of any rust spots that were developing on the roof along with removing a dent in the rear door and again, removing any rust from the area. Once the bodywork is completed, the van is ready for a respray coming up in the next episode.
