Parenting from trauma or dysfunction. Or is it just cultural differences?

Hello loved people, welcome back to Minniesmentalhealth. In my today'a video, I share my thoughts about an article I read online about parenting from a healed childhood. I reasoned with the notion that shouting and fear based discipline among the list of traits could be dysfunctional. I introduce the cultural context of being African. I briefly talk about the Biblical role of a parent and make reference to correction not psalm 125 or 126 it is Psalm 127: and then asked you as a parent and or caregiver about your own experiences and perspectives. Here are some helpful Bible scriptures on this topic: Proverbs 22:6, 15 NKJV [6] Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. [15] Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of correction will drive it far from him. https://bible.com/bible/114/pro.22.6-...
