In order to fully grasp the meaning of the Svamsa Sign, we need to understand the Houses of Dharma & Self - the 1st, 5th and 9th Houses in our Natal Chart. They create a harmonic of 5s, and the number 5, esoterically, is the knowledge of good and evil and the choice point between doing what is right for us, or wrong for us. The 1st House is our body and mind - our individual path in life, using our intelligence to walk that path, and the path itself. The 5th House is our creative intelligence - using knowledge gathered on our path to create things the exist outside of us, such as children, a dynasty, or any creative project. The 9th House is our large purpose - forming a higher purpose based on our unique path, and our ability to use our knowledge for something bigger than our individual Self.
