The ingredients are readily available, inexpensive, and the recipe doesn't require a mixer or any special utensils. TO PREPARE THIS RECIPE YOU WILL NEED: 3 large chicken eggs 250 ml whole milk (can be semi-skimmed or skimmed) 2 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine 120 ml demerara sugar or your preferred sugar 500 ml rice flour (2 250 ml cups each) 1 tablespoon baking powder LU LAMPERT'S TIPS: Before pouring the mixture into the pan, grease and sprinkle a little flour to prevent the batter from sticking to the pan after baking. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes and bake the cake at 180°C for 35 minutes. Do the toothpick test; if it comes out clean, remove from the oven and let it cool. Only then unmold. Enjoy!
