Ball Mastery + Shooting | Solo Training Activity

This video outlines a solo training routine focused on ball mastery and shooting techniques for football players. You will need: 6 cones/objects 1 ball 1 goal (or a mini goal) Goal Alternative: If a goal is not available, use two cones or objects to create a target or passing gate. Ball Mastery Routine The technical sequence is as follows: Initial Movement: Start with an “eight” movement around the cones and drive toward the ball. Step Over & Control: Perform a step over, push the ball forward, and maintain close control back toward the cones. Outside Foot Work: Use the outside of your foot to push the ball wide, then bring it back into your space. Positioning: Control the ball into the middle of the cones, just outside the square. Double Scissors & Body Feint: Perform a double scissors, use the inside of the foot to switch direction, then add a body feint. Turn & Reset: Execute a turn (step-over turn or simple turn) to face the square again. Finishing: Re-enter the square, perform a quick body feint, push the ball into space, and finish with a shot on goal. Training Advice Intensity & Quality: Play at high speed, but keep every touch clean and controlled. Sell Your Moves: Exaggerate body feints and turns to make them realistic and game-like. Create Space: Push the ball into open space before shooting to allow for a clean strike. Progression: Slow the movements down first, then gradually increase speed as you become more comfortable.
