How to Clean EGR Valve // Honda CRV, HRV, Civic R18A1 R20A1

Hi Viewers, in this episode i will be performing on how to disassemble and clean the EGR valve on this Honda CRV with engine code R18A1 & R20a1. Other model of vehicle may differs . Tools needed: Racthet with extension 12mm drive socket RTV Permatex Sealant (In this video i will reuse my old EGR valve gasket) Carbon cleaner of your own preference Brush Paper towel Additional Note : It would be even better if you have a torque wrench and set to 16ft-lb to retighten the bolts & Use new replacement EGR valve gasket. But if you don’t it is fine to use just RTV sealant when re-assemble. Please do this at your own risk . I will not held any responsible over any damages that can occurs while doing this task.
