Each onion has grown into its own unique shape and size. We spread them out to dry in a shady, well-ventilated place so they can be stored and enjoyed for months to come. Later, Grandma makes buchujeon, savory Korean pancakes filled with freshly picked garlic chives. She also cooks kimchijeon using kimchi we prepared last winter.
