Breast Cancer, Hormones, and Hair Loss
Medi Tresse Webinar Series 2021 October 28th, 2021 As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is an important time to take a closer look at treating hair loss after cancer treatments. Fortunately, survival rates of nearly all cancers are improving, but now we need to be sensitive and respectful of how permanent hair loss can affect men and women as they recover, especially as 30-40% of patients that experience hair loss from cancer treatments have some degree of permanent loss. During this webinar we will review how different breast cancer treatments can effect our hair, what our treatment options are, and when we should start treatment.
