Here I took apart Lidl's new battery free 'kinetic' doorbell and had a look at the energy generating mechanism. This kind of power solution is popping up fairly often now in RF switches and whatnot, providing a great way to avoid having to fool around with batteries in these low power devices. Otherwise, bell rings, range decent, no complaints!
