I Built an 8 Drill Tier 3 Mine and Made $30M! | Hydroneer ep. 21

The Tier 3 mine is finally finished! In this episode of Hydroneer Volcalidus, we take on one of the biggest builds of the entire playthrough: finishing the massive Tier 3 dirt mining operation with 8 heavy drills. This build has taken a ridiculous amount of work. The hole was not big enough, the truck barely fit, the drill layout kept fighting me, the conveyors did not want to line up, and I had to dig out way more space than expected just to make the whole system function. Before getting back into the mine, we also finally find the last missing bone, which means that fossil collection is finally complete. That was not even the main goal of the episode, but after driving past that bridge countless times, the final bone was just sitting there. After that, it is back to the real project: finishing the Tier 3 mine. I used nukes to open up the area, tried to make enough room for the truck, built out the drill rows, connected the pipes, added the conveyor system, dealt with placement issues, fixed the drop points, and finally got Tier 3 dirt moving through the system. The setup ends up using 8 heavy drills in Tier 3 dirt, all feeding into the same processing line. Once everything is finally running, the output gets ridiculous fast. To test the money potential, I use the gold, iron, and a massive diamond to craft one huge necklace. The final sale comes out to around $30 million, which basically means money is no longer a problem in this Hydroneer world. This is also kind of the end of the normal storyline-style progression for this Hydroneer playthrough. Now that the Tier 3 mine is running and we have more money than we will ever need, future Hydroneer videos will be more about testing things, breaking things, trying weird ideas, and seeing how far we can push the game.
