Observatory Construction: Planning the Second Pier
Before I begin building my observatory, I need to determine the placement of the second pier and the wall heights. In this video, I quickly—in the summer heat of Phoenix—figure out rough measurements for the second pier placement and the wall height. It doesn't look precise, but I added a few inches to compensate. I haven't done much on the build as it is the middle of summer here in Phoenix, but the plan is to hit it hard in September to do the build. It shouldn't take too long!
