Hand building ceramic mug | How to slab build a handled pottery mug | Slip decorating hand built mug
This is the full process of hand building ceramic mugs I follow in my pottery studio. As you can see there is nothing perfect about it and that's how I like it. I like to use black stoneware in my pottery and decorate it with white slip. I love the contrast created by the two and the rustic finish. I tried to make this mug building 'tutorial' aesthetically pleasing and I hope I succeeded to some extent. But, I also wanted to make sure that every step of the process is captured in the video so you can follow it if you choose to.
