Tractor Rear Counterweight Part 1
I learned very quickly that I need to have some counterweight on the rear of the tractor to more safely lift things using the forks. The L3901 Kubota has a rated lift capacity of 1,130 lbs. This slab of steel I have weighs about 925 lbs and I think will make a great counterweight. I chose to leave it the full 60" long because this slab of steel can be used later on if needed for another machining project. If it ever proves to be in the way or too wide I can come up with another plan for a different type of counterweight. In this episode we'll get the parts cut and ready to be welded on. Part 2 will show all of the welding and testing. Paypal Channel Donation: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...
