Of course, when it comes to the sound quality of these recordings, one has to make allowances for the age of the records and accept the patina of the sound. Overall, however, I find that playing them on a gramophone is what creates the magic of the moment, allowing you to truly hear into the past and marvel at the authentic sound of that era. Natürlich muss man was die Tonqualität dieser Aufnahmen betrifft, dem hohen Alter der Platten Zugeständnisse machen und die Patina des Klangs akzeptieren. In Summe finde ich aber dass gerade durch das Abspielen auf einem Grammophon die Magie des Moments erst entsteht, man dabei wahrlich in die Vergangenheit hinein hören kann und den authentischen Klang aus der damaligen Zeit bestaunen kann .
