Kitchen Makeover Part 2 - Priming the MDF Cabinet Doors
I would always recommend taking the doors off the cabinets to paint them, however it was raining outside and this was just a first coat of primer so they stayed up! Part 3 will show us giving the doors a second coat of primer, followed by a light sand to give a smooth surface for the paint. When priming MDF with a water based primer you should use very light coats to ensure the MDF doesn’t “swell” . Please subscribe to my channel if you’d like to watch our kitchen makeover progress 😀
