NUESTRO PRIMER MAGOSTO EN LA ALDEA GALLEGA 🍂 | Vecinos, comunidad y tradiciones

Today has been a very special day. ❤️ Many neighbors—those who live here now and some who once lived here—gathered to celebrate Magosto, one of the most beautiful and authentic Galician autumn festivals. 🍂 We roasted chestnuts, ate meat and bica (a Galician cake), and shared laughter, stories, and Galician songs. We were lucky enough to have a visit from the mayor, someone we greatly appreciate and who is always attentive to the needs of the residents. We sang a traditional Galician song with her—I think it's called "ONDIÑAS VEÑEN"—and it was a beautiful moment, full of emotion and a sense of belonging. 🎶 We also wanted to give a small gift, so we brought panellets (a type of almond cake) from Catalonia to share a little piece of our homeland with them. It has been a happy day, one of those that makes you feel part of something bigger.
