MC Negão é preso em Avaré (SP) por suspeita de fraudes milionárias

Brazilian funk singer MC Negão was arrested in Avaré, in the interior of São Paulo state. The arrest occurred after an investigation by the Civil Police located the singer in the interior of São Paulo. Previously, he had escaped during an attempt by authorities to capture him in Arujá, in Greater São Paulo. The Civil Police intelligence sector managed to locate and arrest him. Now in police custody, MC Negão faces formal charges related to money laundering and fraud. The criminal scheme he allegedly participated in involved online fraud known as the "fake lawyer scam," primarily targeting INSS (Brazilian Social Security Institute) beneficiaries. According to the investigation, the funk singer provided properties for the installation of telephone switchboards used in the scams.
