Kenmore Water Softener Error 1 (FIXED!)

Our Kenmore IntelliSoft 370 Water Softener started displaying Err1. Checking the manual it said to power off and back on, wait 8 minutes for the code to clear. Since it didn't clear we know something was broken. We found that it was the switch. Replacing the switch fixed our problem and got us back up and running.
