In today's video, I show you Ab Dabbab in Marsa Alam. I set off early in the morning around 8 a.m. from Makadi Bay. The trip took about two hours, and I paid 2,000 Egyptian pounds, which, at today's exchange rate of €1 = 34 EGP, is about €60. The price is, of course, for both ways: there in the morning and back in the evening. Once there, you pay an additional entrance fee of 370 EGP (approximately €11) and 200 EGP for the driver. (Since he's Egyptian, he only pays 200 EGP (approximately €6) instead of the 370 EGP (approximately €11). I got my bearings a bit before heading into the water to see the corals and fish. I also found turtles, but unfortunately no manatees. I think you would have had to swim out further and/or just needed more luck to see them.
