Fisker Ocean - Simplify AutoKit USB Power

Today I will show how to replace the built-in USB port module in the center console with a new one that is connected to the ICC. This will avoid the need to use the USB splitter to the Carlinkit device for separate power and data. The new USB module is a GM part (as was the Fisker one!) found in 2019-2022 Silverado/Tahoe/Spark. Loosen console front right side trim, access ICC cable 2. Remove 10mm bolt on lower long right side trim 3. Loosen console upper long left and right side trim 4. Pull up on two clips on console top near storage bin 5. Remove screw if you have the taco tray 6. Lift center console section up and pull out USB module (four clips) 7. Detach power cable from back of module by flipping red switch and pulling out 8. Insert new mini USB cable male end to female end of service cable 9. Attach new USB module power and USB 10. Insert module back into space 11. Check to make sure cable avoids metal clips to avoid pinching, close up panels ► LINKS Just go for the cheapest USB module you find on eBay with these part numbers.
