JAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – The Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI), Boyamin Saiman, believes that Don Ritto's confession that the confiscated money and gold belonged to him actually strengthens the evidentiary process carried out by investigators. According to Boyamin, the confession makes it easier for investigators to construct the case because Don Ritto and Febrie Adriansyah (FA) are both suspects. "It actually strengthens the case. There are two suspects, Mr. FA and Don Rito. If Don Ritto admits it, it actually strengthens the case, because the two are suspected of conspiring," said Boyamin, Sunday (July 19, 2026). "If one of them admits it, then the proof should be easier," he said. Boyamin also believes Don Ritto's confession strengthens the suspicion that he represents or is connected to FA, the alleged beneficial owner. "If someone now claims to be Don Ritto, then Don Ritto will be prosecuted. It turns out Don Ritto is a long-time associate or affiliate, or even a representative of Mr. FA. That's why Don Ritto and Mr. FA are suspects because they are considered the ultimate or beneficial owner," he said.
