Back when Richie played with Stan Getz, along with Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette, Sonny Stitt walked in one night and Stand Invited him to sit in. Sonny used that as an opportunity to put Richie to the test. This is Richie's account of that night and the result that surprised Sonny.
