We Were Told to SKIP the East MacDonnell Ranges... BIG Mistake! 😲🇦🇺

After a stressful few days dealing with van repairs, it was finally time to leave the mechanical dramas behind and hit the road again. This week we explored the spectacular East MacDonnell Ranges, and to be honest, we'd been told not to get our hopes up because the West Macs were supposedly the better of the two. Well... if that's true, the West Macs must be absolutely incredible because the East Macs completely blew us away! Stunning gorges, crystal-clear waterholes, rugged landscapes and some of the best scenery we've seen made this an unforgettable adventure. With our spirits well and truly lifted, we headed back to Alice Springs for a bit of well-earned rest and relaxation before hitting the Tanami Track. But the biggest surprise was yet to come—we caught up with our best mates, the Smiths, fresh from Murray Downs Station with their son Ben in tow. Sometimes the best medicine isn't found in a workshop... it's found around a campfire with great friends. Plenty of laughs, a few late nights, and even later mornings reminded us why the people you meet along the journey make the adventure just as special as the places you visit, but best friends are unreplaceable. If you're planning an Aussie lap, don't make the mistake of overlooking the East MacDonnell Ranges—they're an absolute hidden gem. 👍 If you enjoyed the episode, don't forget to Like, Subscribe and join us as we continue our lap around Australia!
