Sailboat Jiffy Reefing Upgrades
A few simple updates to a stock jiffy reefing system can make it much easier to reef a mainsail. We added a 4:1 reefing cunningham for the luff and a #6 winch on the boom for the reef line. The winch converts the reef line from a stock 2:1 purchase to 12:1, so you can easily pull the foot and leech tight.
