Hello, this is Haetsol. Today's video shares my story of struggling with things that can't be easily changed with effort and willpower alone. I later realized that back then, I was torturing myself by spending too much energy on those things. I suffered from skin problems for a long time, so I had a hard time looking in the mirror. Every day, I would wonder, "Is this all I have?" and my self-esteem would plummet. 😭 Then, at some point, I realized that I was so focused on what I didn't have that I couldn't see what I already had, and all the things I was doing well. I even went beyond longing for things I wanted to change, to loathing myself for not changing, and ultimately, to the point of hating and denying myself. I hope this video can offer some lightness to those who are struggling with similar issues.
