A Simple Linen Quilt
I tried making a linen quilt for the very first time, and I’d love to share my experience with you - what I enjoyed and what I didn’t. The Pros: Linen feels amazing to the touch. It’s unmistakable. A natural and authentic feeling. Probably the easiest hand quilting I’ve ever done. The result is something very special. The Cons: Linen needs proper preparation (washing and pressing). It’s an unstable fabric, so I had to keep the design very simple and chose hand quilting to have at least some control over it. Linen frays a lot - I had to clean my sewing room 5 times😅 But… in the end, I’m really happy with the result! I hope my experience will inspire you to try making your own linen quilt. Thank you for watching, for your comments and likes, it’s such a wonderful feeling, like having friends all over the world! You can also support my channel by becoming a sponsor / @oltasquilts2725
