Live broadcast of the central funeral service (Funeral Service) in connection with the return to the Motherland of the mortal remains of the Leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, Colonel of the UNR Army Andriy Melnyk and his wife Sofia Fedak-Melnyk. The joint prayer unites bishops, priests and laity from different parts of Ukraine. The participation of state figures and government representatives is also expected. The service takes place in the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ of the UGCC in Kyiv. About the historical event: Andriy Melnyk is a colonel of the UNR Army, head of the OUN in 1938–1964. He died and was buried in Luxembourg in 1964. Thanks to the decision of the Government of Ukraine, the remains of the outstanding figure and his wife were returned home.
