🎵 Royal Opera Masterclass with Antonio Pappano #4: Germán Alcántara (La Favorita and Pagliacci)

As part of our #OurHouseToYourHouse Masterclass series, Royal Opera Jette Parker Young Artist Germán Alcántara is coached through arias from La Favorita and Pagliacci by Music Director Antonio Pappano. This session sees Germán rehearse 'Vien, Leonora' from La Favorita and 'Decidi il mio destin' from Pagliacci, accompanied by pianist David Gowland. The Jette Parker Young Artist programme supports the artistic development of talented singers at the beginning of their careers. Young Artists are employed as salaried members of The Royal Opera and immersed in the life of the Royal Opera House over a two-year period. The specially-tailored programme includes extensive daily coaching in languages, stagecraft and vocal techniques, alongside training for cover roles, performing in concerts and for smaller roles on the main stage.
