Between 1979 and 1981, it seemed as if brainy singer-songwriter B.A.Robertson was never out of the UK singles charts, or off the TV. He had a shady parallel career as hit songwriter for Cliff Richard, but his ascent as a quirky pop star in his own right was as swift as his subsequent descent - and complete disappearance. In this video my old friend David Chandler and I rifle through David's former collection (now mine) of B.A. 45s and LPs and find ourselves asking a question no-one else seems to have thought to ask - 'what the hell ever became of B.A Robertson'?
