Mini Cooper R56 JCW Big Turbo - Brands Hatch 23/10/23

Here is some GoPro footage of the cars first track day event at Brands Hatch (UK) for a shakedown and to see how it performs. Sadly the battery died not long after. We had two failures, first was a shot rear Alta ARB droplink, which got replaced for a stock item for now. at 1pm the throttle body failed and so I had to find a replacement which we did. it cost us time on track, but overall I'm really please with how it ran. K Sport 8 Pot Brakes plus Pagid RS29 pads on the front and PBS pads on the rear were phenomenal. really strong braking performance. Yokohama ADO08RS did pretty well, but could do with an even stickier tyre to reduce a bit of understeer. BC DS Coilovers 8kg all round were on 23/30 clicks firmness front and rear in the end. In this video, they were at 20 clicks front and rear up from 17 on the street. The arch scrub coming out of Paddock Hill Bend in this video went after I added 3 more clicks to 23 clicks with passenger. Car was on Map1 at around 328whp and 286wtq. Car with a splash of fuel is 1167kg Full Tank 1202kg Driver and passenger approximately 1400kg This was my first track day, and the cars maiden TD too! been trying for nearly 3 years to get it on but failures and upgrades and a repeat process seem to have delayed things!
