1970-71 Television Season 50th Anniversary: Dan August (Burt Reynolds inteview '71 w/Dick Cavett)
As we continue to look at the various action series of the 1970-1971 television primetime season, today, we pay tribute to the Dan August and its star, the always entertaining Burt Reynolds. This clip is an interview Mr. Reynolds did in New York on the Dick Cavett Show circa 1971, as she discusses his former series, which was on the ABC Primetime schedule during 1970-1971 season, running for one season. Reynolds was on a roll that night, and very funny and entertaining as we commented on his failed television career up to that point in time. Although no one knew it at the time, Mr. Reynolds was about to embark on one of the most successful feature films careers in movie history, spanning the 1970s decade. This video clip is presented here on YouTube for the entertainment and informational value of the viewer, and no copyright infringement is intended. Enjoy !
