【狭山丘陵】となりのトトロの舞台で丘陵ハイキング【山ごはん：BLTサンド】_2025.08.17

In mid-August, I hiked the Sayama Hills, which straddle the border between Tokyo and Saitama prefectures. I believe these hills are located on the outskirts of the area where the landscape transitions from Okutama-Ome to a town. This area is also known as the setting for My Neighbor Totoro and is famous for its connection to the National Trust movement. While there weren't many significant elevation changes, making it not particularly strenuous, the overall hike was quite long, covering approximately 20km. I ate a BLT sandwich by the shore of Sayama Lake.
