A Journey Through Time: The Isle Of Wight Railway Experience

today we visit the Isle of Wight Steam Railway at Havenstreet. This railway is the last remnant of the by gone era of steam here on the island and boasts an impressive collection of locomotives and rolling stock. During the visit 192 'Wagoneer' the Huntlet austerity was in service hauling the trains up and down the line. Whist at the railway we look around the various attractions and facilities the railway has including the impressive coach workshop and the must see Trainstory exhibit. Train story holds inside various locomotives and coaches of great significance such as the coach Queen Elizabeth II travelled in, the famous terrier W11 Newport and one of the original 1938 stock trains that ran on the island line.
