AriVislanda AB delivered in 2012 sawline with a Merry-go-around system. The sawline runs automatic with only one operator. The sawline system is having 3D scanner combined with a log rotator LT-2, a chipper canter and a log profiling edger QSS-700P. The profiling unit integrated with the log edger are together with a 3D Log scanner designed to fully be an alternative to a modern optimizing board edger system. The profiled boards are optimized and skewed direct on the log. The Yield is high and is comparable with the optimizing board edger systems. An advantage of the profiling technique is that the edging is no longer a problem for the capacity of the sawline. The profiling also gives lower cost regarding maintenance, buildings and investments.
